In an attempt to make my JC life a more fulfilling one, I’m probably biting off more than I can chew. Currently I’m awaiting the results of the model UN interview and contemplating about taking up on H3 Lit, both of which are probably crazily stressful and energy-consuming. But then again there’s still the possibility of not getting into the model UN thing / But then again H3 Lit probably won’t be an additional push to my A level cert.
I’m happy with my promos results, but…
Me: Mummy, I got 60 plus rank points for promos!
Mum: Ohmigod that’s really good! What are your grades?
Me: 3 Bs and 3 Ds.
Mum: Bs? Why not As?
Me: …
Mum: An A actually surpasses a number of Bs you know. ACC is better than BBB.
Me: Oh, really. *starts tuning out*
Mum: Yep. Your sister got an A for GP you know.
Me: Yep, I know. *still tuning out*
Mum: And I thought you wanted an A for Econs?
Me: Yep, I did. *dum dee dum dum*
I was kind of surprised actually, she isn’t usually the type of mum who is unsatisfied with every single grade no matter how good it is, she’s usually happy for me. And she seemed very skeptical about H3 Lit, I’m assuming it’s because I won’t be able to handle it due to my ‘bad grades’. But I’m glad that I’m not the only one, seems like all my friends’ mums have identical reactions. Oh well, mums…
