AHHH!!!
So there was a brown patch on my rose apple…
I bit into the flesh that was above the patch, thinking that the fruit was only rotten at that spot…
When I looked at the bite, there were tiny bugs squirming inside the fruit.
Turns out the brown patch extended upwards inside the fruit.
Brushed my teeth. After screaming, that is.
I had a similar encounter with rose apples before. Once, a few years back, I bit into the fruit and a bloody maggot was wriggling inside. How the heck do these things get inside the fruit? How do houseflies lay eggs inside fruits? And why is it only rose apples? ARGH.

Hahahaha that’s horrifying and funny at the same time… Aahh but it sucks right!!! yuck yuck… But rose apples are still yummy anyway.. Haha.
YES YES omg there was a maggot inside my rose apple once and it wriggled out from my mouth onto my shirt. and i was screaming the house down till dad came and brushed it away. haha, i never eat rose apples anymore.
